While you can certainly travel Egypt on your own, it is more comfortable allowing a company to plan everything. They will provide you with an experienced tour guide and driver during your stay.

You can choose from one of their pre-planned trips and then add to your itinerary once you are there via an a la carte list of activities linked here.
